A light catamaran for fast coastal cruising and beaching
Designed by Nicolas Purnu, the composite Ventio catamaran weights only 3.0 tons for an upwind sail area of 49 to 88 m2.
Each Ventio is equipped with two sails, a 3.3 m or 5 m bowsprit, three or five Harken winches, and two outboard engines.
The Ventio is designed for beaching, on its standard fins (89 cm draft) as well as on its optional rotating daggerboards installed under the main cabin beds (50 cm to 2,10 m draft).
